My husband and I were married on the 10th of April 2010. Joanne & Frances McCabe provided the music for our church ceremony. Upon contacting Joanne and Frances a meeting was arranged to discuss the music for our special day. There was a huge range of songs and musical pieces to choose from. Frances and Joanne were so helpful to us in making our choice. They sang every song and played music, each piece using different instruments to let us hear the wide range they have available. They were brilliant! Nothing was a problem to them!

On the day of the wedding, Joanne and Frances were at the church early to provide music for our waiting guests. One of our guests told us it was the first wedding he was ever at where he didn’t get bored as the music relaxed him!

We had a vast range of instruments played including ‘Can’t help Falling in Love’ played by two tin whistles in harmony while we lit our marriage candle and a piece on the traditional flute at the offertory. At communion Joanne sang ‘Ave Maria’ and my own personal favourite ‘You Raise Me Up’, to which many of our guests admitted to shedding a tear. At the reception we had great feedback to the music at our ceremony including comments such as ‘I never heard anything like it’ and ‘Oh my God, that girl’s voice!’ With the range of songs, instruments and styles made available to us and Joanne’s powerful voice, together with their professionalism and their help, I would definitely recommend Joanne and Frances McCabe to any bride-to-be as I know they would help in making the biggest day of your life that little extra bit special!

I booked Joanne for my wedding and I was thoroughly delighted with the results. She was so professional in everything she did. When we met Joanne she gave us lots of ideas and was very flexible, allowing us to pick music that Damian and I both liked. She sang traditional, classical, Irish and folk for us on the evening. The choice we had was unbelievable! We were both amazed by her voice.

When I heard her sing I thought 'Oh my God, I could not have picked anyone better', we were overwhelmed. She is an extremely pleasant girl and very easy going. My fondest memory of the day was waiting outside the church and walking up the aisle to Joanne's voice. She sang a piece which I had specifically requested and she had learned for my day. It brought tears of happiness. People at the wedding commented on the music in the church & said it was exceptional. I would recommend Joanne without hesitation as I know you will be thrilled and delighted that she sang on your wedding day. Thanks Joanne for making our day even more special.
